About Leslie
Leslie Creith, RMT graduated among the top of her class from the 3000 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2005. Leslie is a registered member in good standing with The College of Massage Therapist of BC, and a member of the Massage Therapy Association of BC. She has been working in your community since the Spring of 2006.
Leslie’s passion for massage started at a very young age, many years before her education as an RMT, when she found that she could relieve her mothers’ headaches with her hands. She has always found that touch is a powerful tool, capable of transformation, conveyance, and creation. Leslie loves that massage therapy allows her to combine the left and right sides of her brain. She feels that a great massage therapist blends scientific and research-based techniques with ancient healing practices. She addresses each client as a whole being, treating local or specific injuries within the context of a holistic approach. Leslie believes that the energy and intention we bring to our daily interactions has a profound effect in our reality, and commits to being positive and grounded with all of her clients.
Leslie is very active in continuing her education, obtaining substantially more Continued Education Credits with the College of Massage Therapy of BC than is required. Leslie is continually updating her knowledge with both in-class workshop learning, as well as attending conferences and conventions in many of the areas she is most passionate about. As of late, this includes Pain Science, the BioPsychoSocial perspective, and pelvic health. Her belief is that the more she learns, and the more research she reviews, the more adept she is at finding the right approach for each of her clients.
Outside of her practice, Leslie is passionate about travel, yoga, meditation, reading, baking, and most importantly her family and young son.
